Sintija Broka serves as the Deputy Director and Head of the Middle East Research Program at the Latvian Institute of International Affairs. She is also a Ph.D. Fellow at Riga Stradins University and a Guest Lecturer at both Riga Stradins University and Riga Graduate School of Law. Sintija Broka holds a master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Riga Stradins University, as well as a master’s degree in Public International Law and Human Rights from Riga Graduate School of Law. Her academic interests focus on the political and economic sustainability of the Middle East, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the intersection of religion and politics in the region, and the foreign policy dynamics of the Gulf. Additionally, Sintija is a certified Agile Project Manager.
