Riga Dialogue Afterthoughts 2019

The Latvian Institute of International Affairs continues a tradition and invites you to the public discussion: "Relationship management between West and Russia" and presentation of the annual "Riga Dialogue Afterthoughts 2019: Managing Crisis and Ensuring Strategic Stability in the Euroatlantic Community." The event will take place on 26 September 2019 from 13.00 - 14.00 at the Hotel Bergs (Elizabetes 83/85), 5th floor.

On May 24, 2019, the annual Riga Dialogue took place in Riga, high-level international representatives, politicians, and research fellows took part in the conference, holding discussions on the shifting dynamics of West-Russia strategic relations, the future of existing security formats, and transnational conflict prevention methods. The Riga Dialogue Afterthoughts 2019 will present the key themes, ideas, and considerations that emerged at the conference providing expert viewpoints on the most recent political, military and security trends in the Baltic Sea region, the Black Sea region, and in broader West–Russia relations. The presentation will include also Riga Dialogue recommendations, a list of the most urgent recommendations for policy-makers, diplomats and experts alike.
